All Star Cheer
When an athlete has been assessed by a coach, and the parents are ready, the next level is a Competitive All-Star Cheer Team. ICE® has teams competing at all levels, from beginner to advanced. Athletes are only expected to attend 2 practices a week as well as all competitions (about 5-7 per year) and any additional practices that may be added before a competition the coaches discretion. Traveling expenses, uniform, choreography, warm ups, and competition fees are also required throughout the year. ICE® prides itself in being one of the top programs in the nation, with hundreds of National Championship Trophies earned throughout the past 10+ years. We've also been featured on ESPN, Fox Sports Network, and Good Morning America, and our most recent honor was placing 3rd at the USASF Cheerleading World Championships in Orlando, FL in 2009!

NEW for the 2010 - 2011 season our program has been carefully broken down to provide an opportunity for every ICE® athlete to EXCEL and to ensure the satisfaction of every ICE® parent. We have broken down and categorized each team and level at ICE® so that parents, athletes, and coaches alike are all on the same page as far as the expectations for each team going forward.

This is a strictly developmental level and will often be an exhibition-type team. The focus of a Level 1 cheerleader is to learn the basic FUNdamentals of competitive cheer and to learn how to perform in front of an audience. "Winning comes second to having FUN in Level 1!"
Level 2 teams have learned the basics of competitive cheerleading, but still need to fine-tune their skills. Confidence on the performance floor is emphasized along with tightness and focus. Level 2 is still primarily about the kids having FUN, but we will begin to set goals for them to achieve such as: first place or spirit awards. Winning is introduced as a measure of success to a limited degree.
Depending upon the age of the athletes on the level 3 team, winning will become more of an emphasis and competitiveness will develop among the athletes much more strongly. FUN is still a major focus of the coaching staff and should rarely be sacrificed in the name of victory. Ultimately, level 3 athletes will begin to realize that winning is FUN!

This level's intensity may vary depending upon the team, but generally level 4 is geared toward preparing athletes for level 5 and so, a more highly competitive atmosphere is established at practice. Expectations of level 4 teams will be greater and more of an emphasis will be placed on the success of the team. These athletes will learn what it takes to be successful cheerleaders through hard work, team bonding, and good FUN with their coaches!

Level 5 athletes typically aspire to compete at the next level in college cheerleading, BUT just because you have the skills to hang with the best doesn't mean you want to compete at the highest level week in and week out during high school, so within level 5 we have two calibers of teams:
Competitive Level 5: This is the level where the skills are up there with the best! Practices are intense at times and expectations are higher. Competitive Level 5 athletes will compete against the best competition in the Midwest, but this level will not compete at the Cheerleading World Championships. These athletes will have the skills, but may not want to dedicate all of there time to cheerleading. They will enjoy the pressure to win and understand that winning is FUN!
Elite Level 5: There is only ONE team at ICE® categorized as "Elite" and that is our premier team which competes for a USASF Cheerleading World Championship each year. Every ICE® Cheerleader aspires to a part of this team, which has won numerous National Championships, consistently places in the illustrious Top Ten at Worlds, and is widely known as one of the best teams in the nation! These athletes not only understand the commitment, but they relish the pressure and the sweet feeling of victory at some of the largest most competitive cheerleading competitions in the world! From Cheersport Nationals in Atlanta, GA and Jamfest Super Nationals in Indianapolis, IN, to NCA Nationals in Dallas, TX there isn't a task too big, nor a detail too small for these athletes to conquer or perfect. If you want to see the BEST, then look no farther than the athletes on the ICE® Elite Level 5 Competitive Team!
