ICE Legacy

 The ICE® Legacy!

Upon becoming a part of the ICE® Family you will have inherited the responsibility of continuing the great tradition of excellence and integrity established by Darlene Fanning on day one.  You will have entered into a community of tremendous people dedicated to their children's happiness and betterment.  You will have also discovered a wonderful opportunity to become part of something truly special.
Below you will find a brief history of ICE® followed by a list of the athletes who went on to make college cheerleading squads after ICE®.

Our Story

Darlene Fanning created the ICE® All Stars cheerleading program in 1998 with about 30 athletes. She rented a some space in a small corner of a local gymnastics facility; basically a small carpeted area right next to the gymnastics floor. ICE® quickly outgrew this space however, so we moved into our  first official ICE® facility: a 12,000 sq. ft. building in Elkhart, IN.  Originally the only coach in the program, Darlene Fanning single handedly laid the groundwork for one of the most successful All Star Cheerleading Programs in the country.  What started as 30 kids in the corner of a gymnastics gym has grown into a program serving over 250 athletes in both competitive cheer and dance and in tumbling classes!  ICE® athletes now have two state-of-the-art gyms to call home, a 50,000 sq. ft. facility in Mishawaka, IN and a 15,000 sq. ft. facility in Fort Wayne, IN.  ICE® teams consistently place in the top at local and national competitions and our premier senior team consistently places in the illustrious Top Ten at the USASF Cheerleading World Championships.  ICE® has made appearances on/in Cheerleader Magazine, ESPN, Good Morning America, Fox Sports, and numerous local newspapers, radio, and television stations.
